My name is Rushik. Last Friday, I underwent an arthroscopic ACL (anterior cruciate ligament )reconstruction Surgery. Like anyone else, I was a little anxious before the surgery. But from the moment I entered the hospital, the entire team made me feel confident and comfortable.
The best part of my experience was that I always knew what was going to happen next. Every step—from admission, investigations, surgery, physiotherapy, pain management, and discharge—was explained to me clearly. That removed all my fear and gave me complete confidence.
The surgery went very smoothly. Within a few hours, I was able to bend my knee to almost 90 degrees. I started walking with support, went to the bathroom on my own, and I was discharged within 24 hours.
Today, I’m here for my fifth-day follow-up. I’m pleasantly surprised by my recovery. I have very little pain, I’m comfortable at home, I can manage all my daily activities independently, and I’m not dependent on anyone. The doctors and physiotherapy team have been in regular touch with me, guiding me throughout my recovery.
I sincerely thank Dr. Arun Kumar and the entire hospital team for their excellent care. They didn’t just perform my surgery—they took care of me throughout the entire journey. I truly felt that every member of the team was committed to helping me recover quickly and safely.
